How To Make Chocolate Cake in a Pressure Cooker Recipe

Budgetmakers brings you the easiest way to prepare the cake without the use of oven at home.Friends there are many family that cannot afford oven, so how to prepare cake at home if you want too.This method uses a pressure cooker available easily in every kitchen.You just need to bring the ingredients from market to your kitchen and then mix them according to the recipe and put them in pressure cooker and then happily enjoy the mind blasting taste and flavor of the home made cake with your family…… REMEMBER THAT THIS METHOD DON’T USE WATER ABOUT WHICH YOU WILL BE INFORMED IN THE LATER PROCESS.
Here I present you the ingredients and recipe. I hope you like it.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 1 Hour approx.


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 6 inch round greased baking tin


  1. In a mixing bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
  2. Add in the butter, sugar, salt, water and vanilla, and beat the ingredients using a whisk thoroughly.
  3. Add the eggs and beat the batter until smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the baking tin.
  5. Heat the pressure cooker, covered with the lid but without the use of pressure, for 3-4 minutes on high heat, then place the cake tin in the empty cooker
  6. Do not add water to the cooker.
  7. Close the lid but don’t use the pressure, lower the flame and let it cook until done (approx. 30 minutes)
  8. Decorate it with seasoning and cream(if needed)and serve.
